The object of Jacks or Better is to obtain a poker hand of five cards that has a winning combination (see the paytable on the machine). The better your hand, the bigger the prize. Choose how many, and which cards you want to replace. One can replace the cards once.
After each round, the cards used go back back in the deck that is shuffled.
To play the game:
Choose the amount of coins you wish to wager each round, by clicking on the + and – buttons in the lower left corner of the screen.
Click Bet One or Bet Max. to select the number of coins you want to bet. Each click on the Bet One button adds a coin to the bet. If you click the Bet Max increases your bet to the maximum – that is, five coins – and the cards are dealt automatically. You can also click the appropriate column in the paytable to specify the amount of the bet.
Click Dar letters.
Select the cards you want to keep by pressing the Hold button underneath the card, or by clicking on the card itself.
Click Deal to replace the cards letters that would not keep.
If you do not get a winning combination, the round ends and you can start again. If you get a winning combination, see the next section.
The lowest winning combination is a pair of Jacks: a pair of any card with lower value (for example, a pair of sixteen) is not a winning combination, a pair of cards of higher value (for example, Queens) is a winning combination.
Fold:
If you have a winning hand, you can accept the prize (click Collect) or Double. If you choose Double, the dealer draws a face up card and gives you four cards face down to choose. If you choose a card that is lower than the dealer’s, you lose the original premium. If the cards are equal there’s a draw and you can choose to receive the original award (click Collect) or Double again. If your card is higher, you win double the amount of the original award. You then have the option to receive prizes or return to Bend.
You can fold up the value of your current premium exceeds the limit bending or the maximum number of rounds the bend is reached. Draws Half Fold and do not count towards the limit of bending round. Clicking the Limits pane opens where you can see the limits of the current rounds the bend.
