All About Roulette Strategy

There are so many articles online about roulette strategy, in which it is suggested that a way , and guess what, a very easy way to win at roulette. However, you must always remember that casinos are one of the most lucrative industries in the world, and all those lights and fantastic buildings are paid through the proceeds of  casino games.

The American roulette wheel has 36 regular numbers, a zero and a double zero – 00. Thus,  if you have 38 possible numbers output – just 1/38 is the probability to win for a specific number. European roulette has 36 regular numbers but only one zero. Thus, the output probability of a given number is calculated by 1/37.

Progressive Betting Systems

There are numerous progressive betting systems. But over the years there is a progressive betting system featured in the sense that inspired many players to try to win at roulette – Martingale system:

Martingale System

The player doubles the bet after every loss in a way that the first win recovers all previous losses, plus a profit equal to the original bet.

The biggest flaw problem with this strategy is that, remembering that past results do not affect the next move, so you can not predict when a trend will finally end or begin. Also, it does not take in consideration that there limits to the amount you can bet. Labouchere System

A progression betting that does not require the player to risk as much as the Martingale. The player adds first sequence number by the last number in the sequence to determine the value of the bet. When you win, first and last letter of the sequence, and get the same bet now with the second number and the second last and so on.

If you lose, then adds val of the previous bet to the end of the line and win again the first and last line number.

It is a betting system more difficult to achieve the maximum bet limit imposed by the casino.

System Fibonacci

Thus, if the number appears before the 35 rounds. There is a (1 – (37/38) 35) * 100 = 60.68% probability of winning in 35 rounds in American roulette and European roulette slightly higher.

The system, also called montant et demontant (up and down) is often called a pyramid system. After each loss, one unit is added to the next bet, and after each win, a unit is reduced in the next bet.

 Dozens system

There are two versions to this system, single-dozen and dozen pairs. In a dozen single player game uses a list of progressively increasing from the casino table minimum, to the table maximum. Many techniques are used, such as betting on the dozen before two consecutive appearances, betting on the dozen that has not appeared in the last 15, 9 or 5 moves. A dozen pair uses two dozen – is one of the bets with higher probability of success in one move, but in the long run the casino advantage remains always the same, favouring the casino.
